Axemen Shift into Summer Mode With Touch Rugby on the Sea to Sky

With the summer season fast approaching, the Axemen Rugby Club has shifted its focus to touch rugby. This exciting and fast-paced sport is a great way to stay active and have fun during the warmer months, and the Axemen are proud to offer two fantastic touch rugby programs for players of all ages and abilities.

First up is Community Touch, which will be held in Squamish on the Howe Sound Secondary School Field every Tuesday at 6pm. This is a drop-in program, meaning you don't have to commit to attending every week – just show up when you can! Community Touch is open to players of all ages and abilities, so whether you're a seasoned rugby veteran or a complete beginner, you're sure to have a great time.

In addition to Community Touch, the Axemen are also excited to announce the return of Whistler Touch Rugby, a co-ed touch rugby competition that's sure to be a blast. Details on how to register as a team or an individual can be found by emailing whistlertouchrugby@gmail.com or by visiting the Whistler Touch Rugby Facebook page.

Whether you're looking for a casual game of touch rugby with friends or a more competitive co-ed league, the Axemen Rugby Club has got you covered this summer. So come on out and join us on the field – we can't wait to see you there!

If you have any questions about the programs, please reach out to our social media or via our Contact Form.
